
A slight chance of rain will begin the day with a better chance of rain during the heating of the afternoon. We'll have a 30% chance of scattered showers, with winds from the E 10-15 mph. The late afternoon hours will likely feature better chances of rain north and quick clearing south of the I-20 corridor.
Tonight the skies are likely to clear up quickly. The weekend is setting up to stay clear with high pressure becoming the dominant feature of our weather this Father's Day weekend. Overnight temps falling into the lower 70s and winds staying light.
This Saturday and Sunday we are scheduled to enjoy clear days. It may get a bit warm during the afternoon hours, but it will stay clear. Temps will climb to the lower 90s then drop by 30 or more degrees.
