The official start of summer will be Wednesday, and we'll feel the heat of summer before then and especially after. Today sunshine is expected to keep it a bit warmer than norm for this time of the year. Highs will reach into the lower 90s and winds south at 10-15 mph.
Tonight it's likely to be clear with temps dropping by more than 25 degrees. Ultimately the lows will fall into the 60s, with winds continuing out of the south and south east. The moisture in the atmosphere will be just enough to make it muggy, but clouds and fog is looking unlikely.
Tomorrow begins a significant warming trend, into the mid and upper 90s for the rest of the week. By Wednesday, the first official day of summer, temps will be in the mid 90s with the heat index reaching triple digits.
