Judge grants bond for man accused of killing two pedestrians

The driver charged with two counts of manslaughter for killing two pedestrians was back in court Monday. Ling Lu of Jackson was in Hinds County Court for a bond hearing.

Lu is accused of killing Donna Williams and Powell Calhoun on the I-55 Frontage Road. Calhoun was pushing Williams in a wheelchair in the roadway when they were struck.

A judge granted Lu a $200,000 bond and house arrest. He will have to wear a monitoring device, if he makes bail.
