Plenty of sunshine once again for today thanks to high pressure in control of our weather pattern. Expect a high near 90 degrees for today, and the heat index in the mid to upper 90s.
The winds from the south east will also add to the heating ingredients, and will continue to do so for the rest of the work week.
Tonight the skies will stay mainly clear and allow for a fast drop in temps after the sun goes down. Overnight temps are expected to dip into the mid to lower 60s.
The winds will continue to push from the southeast, but shouldn't make for a muggy night.
Wednesday will mark the official beginning of the summer season, with temps starting to go up even more. We're expecting a high of 92 and the winds continuing out of the south east.
Thursday the temps will reach into the mid 90s and the heat index climbing to near 100 degrees. And the weekend the temps will reach to near 100 degrees, pushing the heat index beyond those numbers.
