JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
An 11-year-old boy is recovering from injuries he suffered after being hit by a car Wednesday morning. It happened shortly before 9 a.m. at the intersection of Ellis Avenue and Robinson Road in west Jackson.
The child was identified by family members as Myles King of Ridgeland. He was talking with paramedics at the scene. King is listed in good condition at Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital.
Police say a Mazda hit the child as he was crossing Ellis Avenue with his father. The car was headed north on Ellis, turning from Robinson Road. No charges were filed.
