The first 'full day' of summer is coming in with the promise of summer-like conditions! Expect a high of 93 degrees with winds from the NE 5-10 mph. The UV index is also elevated; at a level of "11" which is considered extreme. And if you go to the beach the UV exposure will be double.
Tonight mainly clear skies during the overnight period with temps expected to fall rapidly. Lows will range in the mid to lower 60s with winds staying light and variable. The rapid cool down is likely to begin only after the sun goes down and we're in the late night hours (after 10pm).
Tomorrow the sun returns with a fury - so temps are going up even higher. The sizzling sunshine will push temps into the mid 90s, and even though winds will be from the NE, the heat index is still expected to go up to near 100 degrees.
