Pedestrian hit by car in south Jackson

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A man was hit by a car just after one o'clock Thursday afternoon in Jackson.

Police say the 26-year-old was at the corner of Terry and McDowell roads, trying to flag down cars. He was almost hit twice before he was struck.

Officers believe the man may live at a nearby personal care home. No word on his condition.
