More drug arrests in Hinds County

HINDS COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Hinds County Sheriff's Department has been busy making drug arrests. On Tuesday, Lasondra Armstrong, 30, of Edwards turned herself in. Her arrest is connected to Monday's big drug bust in that town. She's charged with selling marijuana, and conspiracy to sell marijuana.

Two pounds of pot was seized Tuesday at Thomas Lambert's home in Presidential Hills in Jackson. He's been arrested on one count of sale of marijuana, and one count of possession with intent to distribute. Lambert faces three additional counts for selling the drug in the Georgetown community.

The Sheriff's Department is looking for Larry Moseley, a.k.a 'Vossie', of Edwards. He's wanted on three counts of selling marijuana, one count of possession with intent to distribute, and one count of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

In the course of this investigation, it has been determined that Moseley is responsible for distributing in excess of 300 pounds of marijuana, with a street value of $300,000 to $400,000, and distributing an undetermined amount of crack cocaine during the past three years.
