JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Hundreds of people turned out for the 5th annual Red, White & Jackson celebration Thursday evening.
The event was held in front of the Old Capitol Museum in downtown. Fireworks capped off the night's festivities.
First Baptist Church of Jackson and Anderson Sanctuary Choir entertained the crowd with patriotic songs.
There were also a number of children's activities.
The Jackson Chamber of Commerce hosted the event.
The celebration began at Smith Park earlier in the day, but later moved the Old Capitol Museum.
