We have a bit of good news this morning, we're no longer under a Heat Advisory! However, we'll still have temps above the norm for this time of the year with a high of 96 degrees expected for today. Winds will push from the north west, which will help with a slight amount of heat relief.
During the overnight period the temps will drop into the 70s. The winds will continue to push from the northwest at 5 mph. A very slight chance of rain will develop to our east.
Tomorrow the heat and above normal highs will continue in our area. Despite that, it's likely we will 'not' be placed under a heat advisory. 10-20% chance of a brief afternoon shower in the forecast for mid portion of the work week.
