The luxury of a spot shower cooled us down to tolerable afternoon conditions on yesterday, and we're expecting close to the same today. Highs will reach into the upper 90s with the winds from the north west at 5-10 mph. There will still be a 20% chance of a quick developing and random afternoon shower.
Tonight, particularly during the early morning hours, we may have a fading spot showers; especially south of I-20. Scattered clouds will allow enough of the heat of the day to escape aloft, allowing us to cool down to the lower 70s. The winds will be light and variable.
Tomorrow our chances of rain go from a mere 20% to an impressive 40% chance of spot showers. Despite that raised chance of rain, were still looking for a high of 97 degrees, similar to Thursday's high. Wind will continue to push from the north west at 5-10mph. And believe it or not, by next week temps will be LOWER during the afternoon hours, eventually falling to a high of only 90 degrees by next Wednesday.
