Attempted robbery at Jackson bank

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A bank robber came away empty handed Friday morning when he tried to rob the Regions Bank at 947 North State, in Jackson.

The man, described as a black male wearing all black, passed the teller a note demanding money. When the teller refused, he snatched the note back and left the bank.

The man got into a black vehicle and left.

Police are reviewing the security tape to get a better description.
