ATTALA COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
A vehicle fire lit up the night sky and kept firefighters busy late Friday night in Attala County .

It happened around 10:45 on Highway 35 south at Attala Road 1022 at the old Davis store. The car was fully engulfed when crews arrived.
No one was inside the vehicle and no injuries were reported.
It was so badly burned that investigators had to track down the owner through the vehicle identification number.
The Attala County Fire Department is investigating.
