JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Saturday morning the Mississippi Black Rodeo Parade pranced through the streets of downtown Jackson.
This afternoon cowboys thrilled the crowds straight out of the gate.
It is billed "the baddest show on dirt."
The Mississippi Coliseum was filled with excited fans.
More than 600 cowboys are riding bucking bulls, calf roping and barrel racing.
The Real Cowboy Association sponsors the nationwide tour.
This is the tenth year the black rodeo has entertained audiences in Jackson.
Frank "Penny" Edwards, the Real Cowboy Association CEO said, "We've got ConFunkShun for the old school and we've got J Dash for the young people. And we have a great show for everybody and we guarantee the baddest show on dirt."
A second show gets underway Saturday night at 8 p.m.
