The additional clouds for today will play in our favor in avoiding the oppressive heat that we dealt with last week. There's a 50-60% chance of spot showers during the afternoon hours. Highs will be closer to the norm for today and slightly below this entire work week; staying in the lower 90s.
Winds will add to the 'muggies' with a push from the south west at 10-15 mph.
Tonight the early hours of the night will still feature of few of the lingering random rain showers. Overnight lows will be in the lower 70s, so relief is definitely in sight from the afternoon heat and rain. Winds will continue from the south at 5-10 mph.
Tomorrow will be similar to today, temps near 90s, but this time slightly below. Wind will continue from the south west at 9-14 mph. And we'll maintain at least a 50% chance of afternoon spot showers. This is likely to be the pattern most of this work week.
