Body found near Richland Walmart

RICHLAND, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Richland Police have found a body on East Harper Street, in the field across from Walmart. Officers responded to a call about buzzards in the area.

When they searched the field they the partially decomposed body of a 48-year-old male. The name is being withheld until the family is notified.

An autopsy is being performed to find the cause of death.
