JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A murder warrant has been issued in the death of a 32-year-old Jackson man killed last month. Rayco Davenport was found lying in the street at Lynda and Daniels streets June 10. He had been shot multiple times and died two days later at University Medical Center.

Police believe the shooting stemmed from an argument. They have now identified the man who they say is responsible for Davenport's murder.

Officers are searching for 28-year-old Larry Lewis. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs around 160 pounds. Lewis is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on Lewis is asked to call Central Mississippi Crime Stoppers at (601) 355-TIPS (8477) or you can text Crime at 274637. Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,500 for valid information.
