JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Jackson police have identified three people shot while sitting in an SUV at 947 Robinson Street Tuesday night.
JPD spokeswoman Colendula Green says the victims are Tyrone Johnson, 20, Reginal Henderson, 19, and Issac Griffin, 21.
The shooting happened shortly after 10 p.m. near the intersection of Rose Street.
The three victims attempted to take themselves to the hospital.
Officers responded to West Street and Woodrow Wilson in reference to a traffic accident. They found a Chevrolet Tahoe had struck a Pontiac Grand Prix. The driver of the Tahoe was partially ejected from the vehicle.
All four people involved, the three shooting victims and the driver of the Pontiac, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
