JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Jackson police are searching for the man who may have robbed the Trustmark Bank on Highway 18 near Greenway Drive around 10:30 Thursday Morning.
We say "may have robbed" because police are not sure it was a holdup.
According to police, a man walked in, said he was having difficulty speaking, and passed a note on a deposit slip to the teller asking for a specific amount of money.
What is not clear at this time is whether the man was a customer or a bank robber.
He was given cash, and then he walked out. The man did not display a weapon. No one was hurt.
Police are searching for an African-American man, driving a red Toyota truck or SUV.
