True South Classic field is taking shape

MADISON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The True South Classic is set to invade Annandale Golf Club in just a few days.

Tournament officials feel the incoming field is one that will impress golf fans of all ages.

"We've got a great field shaping up. We have over 15 winners over the last two years. We have Rocco Mediate and Boo Weekley coming. Obviously our defending champion, Chris Kirk, is going to be back. Lee Janzen, names of people that folks have seen on the tour for years. There's also the new blood as well," said tournament director John Marovich.

The True South Classic begins Thursday, July 19.
