The start of the day includes a great deal of light to moderate drizzle for most of the state; along with a few light showers starting in southwest Mississippi. The early morning rain will occasionally bring a few embedded T-storms moving to the northeast at 10 mph.
Our chances of rain remain at 60% during the entire day, winds south 5-10 mph, highs in the upper 80s.
Tonight the shifting of the overall unstable air will continue to feature spot showers popping up in a random pattern, lows near 70. However the overall movement of the rain will be from west to east, accumulation should be less that a full inch of rain.
Winds will continue to push from the south at 5-10 mph. We'll maintain a 30% chance of showers.
Tomorrow is expected to be rainy once again with mostly cloudy skies. Our chances of rain will rise back to 50% chances, especially during the afternoon hours.
Highs will be in the lower 90s, setting us up for the muggy 'thick' feel outside to return in full force. Winds will be from the east at 10-15 mph.
