The competition might have been hot, but the ice cream was cool Saturday at the Ice Cream Safari at the Jackson Zoo.
Celebrity scoopers served up sweet treats at the annual event.
There are some classic rivalries at the safari -- Brandon Artiles of the WLBT Morning Show dazzled folks with a smorgasbord flavor: banana split.
"Got some sundae swirl in it, bananas, pineapple, cherries," Artiles said. "So far, we're faring pretty well, got a lot of tokens."
But Nate and Murphy of Y101 thought, just because they won last year, they would repeat.
"We got orangutan cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake, real chunks of cheesecake in it, real strawberries, delicious," Tim Murphy said.
The ice cream was provided by Blue Bell.
In the end, Nate and Murphy of Y101 won for the fourth year in a row.
