Bond set for two men involved in standoff

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Bond has been set for the two men arrested after a home burglary and stand off with Jackson Police. Jimmy Lee Thompson and Darrell Young were both in court this morning.

A neighbor noticed two men going into a house in the 3-hundred block of Woody Drive Saturday afternoon and called police.

They learned another suspect was in the home, possibly armed with a weapon. He surrendered to a swat team about three hours after the stand off started.

Bond was set at 25-thousand dollars for both men. They are charged with house burglary.
