Pole in my pants rap video apology

Posted: Updated:
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Jackson Fire Department investigation into how a local rapper showed up in a fire truck and full uniform at a nightclub is nearing completion.

WLBT was recently mailed a public apology on behalf of "Hollywood Luck."

The entertainment firm, Play Wit It Entertainment stated, "As entertainers we were unaware of any policies, laws or wrongdoings that were made during the time of creating our video. Words cannot express how truly sorry we are for any inconvenience that we may have caused our city."

We passed our email onto fire department investigators who said they were unaware of any such public apology. Not only that, we were emailed a new version of the controversial "Pole In My Pants" video, minus the engine truck and rapper in full gear.

The initial YouTube video showed a fire truck pulling into the parking lot of Freelon's nightclub. The person wearing a fireman's jacket and helmet appears very similar to the rap artist Hollywood Luck in the video.

We are told investigators will conclude their probe by the end of the week. The assistant fire chief said Tuesday that's when he would talk with WLBT News once all the information has been complied.
