Sound Off: VA Hospital

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Healthcare is a very hot topic in this year's presidential election. Regardless of your political views on healthcare one thing is for certain military veterans who have served our country deserve quality healthcare.

Recently the Sonny Montgomery Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson has come under fire about patient care, poor morale, a shortage of physicians and medical staff. Congressman Bennie Thompson asked for an investigation and last week visited the VA Hospital in Jackson to see for himself. The VA Hospital needs to address the numerous complaints that have surfaced.

Jackson is the major medical center for Mississippi and the VA Hospital is too important to let these problems continue.
