Storm damage, power outages in the Metro area

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The National Weather Service is reporting storm damage and flash flooding in locations across the Metro.

Entergy is also reporting more than 3,400 power outages due to severe weather Thursday afternoon.

Damage reports from Hinds County Emergency Management:

Power line does along Overstreet Avenue
Flash flooding at Mills Street and Monument Street
Flash flooding at Terry Road and Grandview Circle
Water covering the road at Ridgewood Road and Sheffield Drive
Water covering the road in the 5000 block of Old Canton Road
