Worker found shot to death identified

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police have identified the body of a man found shot to death at a house in south Jackson Wednesday.

52-year-old Robert Early McCoy was found shot to death at a house on Thousand Oaks Drive, off Highway 18.

The owner of the home had just returned from lunch when he discovered the body around 3:30 p.m.

McCoy had been there doing work for the homeowner.

A gun was also found near the body.
