Pearl police chase shuts down busy Jackson intersection

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

An apparent police chase shuts down a busy intersection in downtown Jackson on Saturday evening.

Pearl police blocked the State Street exit to Woodrow Wilson Boulevard some time after 7 p.m.

A silver Chevrolet Impala was towed from the scene.

Jackson police say it was the result of a police chase.

Pearl police did not release any information.

It is unknown if anyone was hurt or arrested as a result of the pursuit.
