Scientists in Canada have made what's being called a breakthrough in cancer research.
Researchers at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute are working on a personalized vaccine. The project is led by Dr. John C Bell.
The vaccine would make your body fight off cancer, instead of using toxic drugs.
The personalized vaccine would mix a patient's tumor with a virus that targets and kills cancer cells. Together it alerts the immune system what to do.
