The early morning commute to work is not a problem, fog is not an issue this morning. We are expecting a high of 95 degrees today, and we'll also have to deal with a heat index of 101+. Winds will be from the southwest at 10-15 mph.
Tonight we'll have a chance to recover from the oppressive heat, as temps drop into the lower 70s. Additionally, we'll have clear skies that will allow the heat of the day to escape into the upper atmosphere.
However, despite the clear skies and light winds, we'll still have muggy conditions because the dew point temps will be in the 70s as well.
Tomorrow we'll have much of the same weather pattern. High pressure will begin to settle directly on top of the state, opening the door for plenty of sunshine. That also will open the door for plenty of heat to build up during the afternoon hours, up to a high in the upper 90s.
And the Heat Index is likely to exceed 103.
