JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Mississippi Department of Corrections is investigating a report about two probation/parole officers searching for a parolee at a Jackson apartment complex.

An arrest warrant was issued for Tommy Lee Cleveland, 49, on March 5 for failure to report to his parole officer.

Cleveland was paroled on June 14, 2011. He had been serving time for burglary in Warren County.

Cleveland was reportedly seen in the area of the Highland Square Apartments in the 1500 block of  West Highland Drive in Jackson.

On July 19, parole officers, along with JPD, checked out that location.

MDOC is investigating allegations the officers were at the wrong location.
