RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

WLBT has learned the identity of the man arrested in connection with a theft at a home in Rankin County.

Pearl police say 23-year-old Rodney Bret Shows, Jr. is scheduled to appear Thursday in Pearl Municipal Court for an arraignment and setting of bond.

The investigation into the incident at the Patrick Farms Subdivision is ongoing.

WLBT captured exclusive video of Shows Tuesday as he was hauled into jail.

Police say he took golf equipment valued at over $5,000 from a home on Wildberry Drive.

The next day, Shows showed up at a Ridgeland store attempting to sell the stolen goods.

He returned a second time Tuesday afternoon.

A Ridgeland officer spotted him and moved in for the arrest.
