Plenty of sunshine is expected once again for today, but coming at the price of dangerous heat once again. We'll have a high of 94 degrees, however the heat index will reach 103, or perhaps a little higher.
Winds will continue from the SW 6-11 mph.
Tonight scattered clouds will thin out a bit, allowing for a quicker cool down during the overnight period. Temps are expected to drop back to the mid to upper 70s, staying a bit muggy.
Friday, there's a decent chance of rain in the forecast. A 30% chance of showers opens the door for a better opportunity for a cool down, but it also means more moisture hovering in the atmosphere.
Wind will continue to push from the south/southwest, and temps will rise to the lower to mid 90s.
