Car fire blocks traffic on I-55

MADISON COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A car fire snarled traffic on Interstate 55 for some time Thursday evening.

It happened in the southbound lanes, just past exit 108 in Madison County.

According to MDOT, a fire truck blocked traffic at one point to put out the blaze.

No word on how the fire started or if anyone was injured.
