Truck lands upside down in Jackson ditch

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A truck crashes through a fence and lands upside down in a ditch.

The crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. Friday on Northside Drive.

Rescue crews had to carry a victim up the nearly six foot embankment of the drainage ditch.

The pick lay upside down and a fence in front of nearby Willie's Auto Service was damaged.

A portion of the roadway was blocked until the scene was cleared.

An unidentified woman was taken away from the scene by AMR. Police did not have any information on her condition.

J.P.D. is investigating the accident.
