Man pays more than $11K in back child support

BRANDON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

An Arkansas man indicted in Mississippi for failing to support his child has finally paid his debt.

39 year-old James Wright was extradited July 20 to face one count of felony non-support of a child in Brandon.

He was booked into the Rankin county jail where he currently remains.

Monday, he handed over a check to the Attorney General's office for the full amount of his child support arrearage amount of over $11,000.
