A Severe Thunderstorm Watch continues until 10PM for Attala, Covington, Hinds, Jefferson Davis, Holmes, Leake, Madison, Rankin, Scott, Smith, Simpson, and Yazoo counties.
A cluster of strong storms in north Mississippi will work their way down into parts of central and south Mississippi this evening. These storms will mainly impact areas along and east of I-55. The main storm threat will be from isolated damaging winds, but heavy rain, lightning and small hail is also possible.
