Looking for something to do this weekend? Well the men's version of Mistletoe Marketplace has arrived in Jackson. Some ladies may enjoy it too.
So go where the wild things are. The Mississippi Trade Mart for the Wildlife Extravaganza. It's a virtual zoo for hunters and outdoor lovers. You can test your skills at grabbing flathead catfish in makeshift pond, get and up close and personal look at gator's snakes and spiders.
WLBT News photographer Patrick Davis was the brave one..all wrapped up in Sunny the Burmese python!! Sorry with my snake phobia, I wasn't going near that and with hunting season nearing, try your hand at bow and arrow practice.
Thousands who walk through the Trade Mart may also hear a lot of calling, for ducks and geese that is. You can get up to date hunter education and details of Mississippi's beautiful state parks. Even check out your hunter prowess in Mississippi Original Big Buck contest.
Folks lined up Friday. The extravaganza is packed with the entire family in mind, you can buy or browse from over 200 exhibitors. Friday is kid's day with special activities just for the youngsters. Children 12 and under get in free.

Doors opened Friday at 3 and close at 9p.m. Saturday 9 till 7, and Sunday 10 - 5 p.m.
