HPD: Shoplifters use stun gun on Walmart employee

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Two suspected Walmart shoplifters are behind bars after trying to stun an employee.

Loss prevention employees at the Walmart on Sparkman Drive told police they saw Carmen and Vicki Marshall concealing merchandise in their purses Friday evening.

When a Walmart employee confronted them, one of the offenders pulled out a stun gun and attempted to use it on the employee.

Both were detained until police arrived. They were arrested charged with robbery first degree. Vicki Marshall was also charged with theft of property third degree.

Their bonds were set at $60,000 each.
