Most of the shower and thunderstorm activity is currently in portions of extreme south Mississippi and Louisiana. These showers will continue to die off as we head through the evening hours. Although some have seen rain today, most of central and south Mississippi continues to be hot and humid.
A weak frontal boundary will continue to make its way closer to the region. This will give our area an increase in the rain chances for Monday. The passing of the boundary will leave us with winds out of the north. This means we should expect drier air and slightly cooler temperatures for the rest of the work week. Rain chances remain steady after Monday at 20%.
