A mother and daughter team are walking across the country to show miracles really do happen.
Lisa Bosquez and 19 year-old Rebecca made a stop in Brandon this weekend, attending First Baptist Church.
The Wisconsin duo is raising money for multiple charities along the way. They hope to raise $250,000.
In 2009, Rebecca suffered a near fatal brain injury after a car accident. Doctors said she would never walk again.
Now, step by step and with each passing mile Mom and daughter share their story and religion with others.
"Our goal is simply to reach out to people and to give them hope and inspiration and to allow them to watch us walking in faith," says Lisa Bosquez.
"Just the fact that I can walk and talk and you know live at my own house and travel across the country is such a blessing, and I am so grateful for it," says Rebecca Bosquez.
The two left Savannah, Georgia on June 12th and will end their trip in San Diego, California.
