Gas prices on the rise

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Prices are rising at the pump.

The average retail gas prices in Jackson are up more than $.10 per gallon in the past week.

As of Sunday, Jackson-area gas was about $3.33 per gallon. This compares with the national average of $3.60 per gallon, according to jacksongasprices.com.

The Jackson-area prices are about $.18 cents less than they were this time last year.
