Brandon woman killed in vehicle accident

RANKIN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Brandon woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident in Rankin County Monday evening.

Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey says 65-year-old Barbara Rutledge's vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree on Thomasville Road near Monterey Road around 7:22 p.m. Monday.

Rutledge died at the scene, Bailey said.
