The steamy beginning of the day may be a preview to atmospheric 'fireworks' expected later during the afternoon hours. We'll have a 50% chance of showers and isolated T-storms. Highs will be in the mid 90s, with the heat index near or slightly above 100 degrees. And the winds will push out of the south.
Tonight the chances of showers will dwindle as the sun goes down; possibly as low as 20% possibility. Keep in mind that the heat dependent storms are likely to break up as quickly as they form during the day, and even faster during the evening hours. Overnight lows in the lower 70s with light winds.
Tomorrow not quite as steamy as temps fall below the norm for this time of the year. Expecting a high of 91 degrees, however the heat index could still get close to 100 degrees. Winds will continue from the south with a 20-30% chance of showers; primarily in the afternoon hours.
