Man found dead in burned truck, 1 arrested

GAUTIER, Miss. (AP) - Gautier police have arrested a 54-year-old man on a charge of capital murder in connection with the death of a man found inside the cab of his burned pickup truck.

The Sun Herald reports Steven Michael Brown was taken into custody Thursday.

He is being held without bond.

Brown was charged in the death of a man found inside a maroon Dodge Ram on Wednesday.

An autopsy to determine the cause of death is scheduled Thursday.

Police have not identified the victim.
