MOST WANTED surveillance video in Ridgeland & Jackson

Jackson,MS (WLBT) - Some folks don't seem to have a problem shopping on other people's property. We have another case of stolen identity and a face to go with it.

Ridgeland detectives want you to look closely at this MOST WANTED person of interest. On July 14, he walked into the garden center at Wal Mart while chatting on the phone. The unidentified man began his shopping spree. He appears young, with a goatee. The guy is wearing a blue and white stripped shirt, jeans and white tennis shoes. When it came time to check out things went askew. He presented the clerk with two gift cards that had stolen bank of America Visa debit car numbers on them.

Those gift cards were purchased with the victims card. After multiple scans by the clerk they were rejected. He quickly leaves the store. The owner of the debit card to Ridgeland detectives that he has not set foot in the store in years and lives out of town. Help stamp out these costly crimes by calling Ridgeland police at 601-856-2121.

And we have this follow up. Check out surveillance video from the Easy Stop convenience store on Woodrow Wilson. In this video recorded last week you can see the armed gunman brazenly make his way behind the counter. The store clerk is helpless.
