JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Jackson police have made an arrest in a fatal stabbing at the Delhaven Manor Apartments Thursday.
Police say they found 50-year-old Gary Clincy stabbed to death at the complex shortly after 5 p.m.
Edd Burrell, 55, was arrested at the scene and charged with murder. Both men were residents at the complex, according to police.
Louise Smith, also a resident at Delhaven Manor, says she witnessed the stabbing.
Smith said Clincy had been "messing" with Burrell all morning and Burrell warned Clincy he would stab him to death if he continued to tease him. She also said Clincy has been drinking and Burrell was not mentally stable.
This is Jackson's 45th homicide this year.
