Body found in partially submerged truck - MSNewsNow.com - Jackson, MS
Washington County man was found dead inside a truck partially submerged in a creek Sunday.
Authorities are trying to determine what caused the Chevy pickup to plunge into the Quitonia Creek on Murphy Road east of Hollandale.
Deputies were called to the scene around 12:30 Sunday afternoon.
Washington County Sheriff's Department Assistant Chief Billy Barber identified the victim as 54- year-old David Arrington.
Investigators said passersby spotted the Hollandale man inside the vehicle.
Arrington is believed to have been the water for a few hours before being found.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine actual cause of death.
