HINDS COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
The Mississippi Department of Transportation wants to inform motorists of an upcoming lane closure on I-220 in Hinds County on Monday.
Monday evening at 6 p.m., crews will temporarily close the northbound lanes of I-220 from exit 2A to exit 2B, the westbound lanes of Clinton Boulevard near the I-220 northbound on ramp, and the westbound lanes of Bullard Street/Clinton Boulevard near the I-220 northbound on ramp.
Each location will be temporarily closed for 30 minute intervals between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. To allow crews time to replace overhead truss assemblies on the bridge.
