Local Boy Scouts who have become Eagle Scouts got a big honor from the skies Tuesday.
The scouts gathered at the state capitol to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Eagle Scouts, the highest advancement rank Boy Scouts can achieve.
Once they were all assembled, at 5:45 p.m., four Texas AT-6 airplanes flew over the scouts.
Skycopter three was also in the air to capture all the action.
The AT-6, also called the "Texan," was a training plane in World War II.
